I accept privacy policy rules
Nextar's Q4 portable navigator makes a handy companion for travel anywhere in the Middle East. It features a bright 4.3" touchscreen for easy-to-see guidance, and a stylus pen for more accurate function control through the display. The included Secure Digital™ (SD) memory card contains detailed maps of all the Middle East regions, for reliable navigation wherever you travel. For added assurance, you can program the Q4 to alert you when you're traveling over the posted speed limit on most roads.
Just enter a destination and you'll be on your way — you can input an address or choose from 600,000 searchable points of interest, including lodging, gas, food, ATMs, tourist stops, and emergency services. The friendly voice prompts announce actual at turns. You'll hear "turn right" instead of "take the next right," so you'll be able to get through unfamiliar intersections without looking at the screen. The Q4 's quick route recalculation gets you back on track quickly if you miss a turn.
The Q4 lets you take entertainment on the road with you — load up an SD card with digital music files and get into the groove with Nextar's built-in MP3/WMA player. You can also view digital picture files from an SD card on the color touchscreen, allowing you to check out highlights of your trip before you even get back home.
Overview:
The nextar Q4 is a vehicle and portable navigation device that utilizes GPS signals from satellites to calculate your precise location and compute details about your travel destination. Once the unit locates your position and movement, it can then overlay this information onto detailed integrated HERE maps to provide you with visual representation of your location and destination route. Because it requires no installation, you can transfer the unit from one vehicle to another.
Antenna:
The portable navigation unit features an integrated multidirectional GPS antenna, adding to its slim design.
Built-in Maps:
The Q4 comes preloaded with detailed maps and destinations of the Middle East.
(Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon).
You can travel throughout the Middle East without downloading new data.
Touch Screen Display:
The unit features a 4.3" touch screen display with easy to use menus, maps and icons. The display's brightness can be adjusted for easy night and day time viewing.
Memory Card Slot:
The nextar Q4 features a memory card slot that will accept SD memory cards and play MP3, WMA, and JPEG files.
Turn-By-Turn Voice and Visual Guidance:
The Q4 offers Turn-by-Turn visual guidance through its wide touch screen display and voice guidance via its built-in speaker.
Text to Speech: The Text to Speech (TTS) feature reads street names aloud during route guidance (in English only).
On-Screen Keypad:
The unit's on-screen keypad allows you to manually enter specific data, addresses, etc into the nextar Q4.
Smart Search: To help you enter the destination correctly, once you start spelling a name (street, city, POI, etc) the Q4 highlights only the possible next letters based on the information it the database; not allowing misspellings. Once the database narrows the entry to a manageable number of possibilities, the keyboard is replaced by a list of options on the display.
Main Menu: The Main Menu has icons for Navigation, Music player, Photo viewer, and the main settings menu.
