Biografía del jeque Fares Abbad

Fares Abd Rabbuh Mohammed Abbad es un jeque yemení considerado uno de los recitadores del Corán más destacados, además de ser imán en la mezquita Ali bin Abi Talib, ubicada en la zona de Doha, al este de Arabia Saudita. Su melodiosa voz es muy conocida en el canal de televisión Almajd, donde trabaja actualmente.
Nació en Saná, la capital de Yemen, el 12 de abril de 1980. Es el segundo hijo de sus padres y padre de tres niños y una niña.
Su interés por el Sagrado Corán comenzó desde niño; por ello, lo memorizó en numerosas escuelas de Saná y completó sus estudios en la mezquita de Bilal Ibn Rabah, donde estuvo acompañado por jeques de gran prestigio, como el jeque Fadl Morad, quien le enseñó la técnica de la recitación. Entre los jeques que influyeron en él se encontraban figuras muy reconocidas en el mundo islámico, como Abdul Basit Abdul Samad y Mohamed Al Mohisni.
Su talento para recitar el Corán comenzó a ser conocido, y su voz impresionó a mucha gente, ya que era una mezcla de inquietante y reverencia. Como resultado, comenzó como imán de las oraciones de Tarawih en la mezquita Bilal Ibn Rabah en 1994, y permaneció en ese puesto durante 7 años.
Y así, su fama comenzó a extenderse por todo el mundo islámico gracias a la gran cantidad de grabaciones de audio que ha realizado, entre las que destaca la recitación completa del Corán en 2003, financiada por la compañía Qadaissia Records, que desempeñó un papel fundamental en la difusión de sus interpretaciones. Según Cheikh Abbad, también grabó una versión completa del Corán, la legitimidad del encantamiento y el poema "Nounia Al Qahtani", compuesto por ochocientos versos, recitados con su propia voz. Además, grabó la Introducción de Ibn Al Qayem (la Descripción del Paraíso), "Los recordatorios de los dos lados del día", "El hechizo de posesión" y "El hechizo mágico". Además de grabar algunos textos científicos, actualmente se prepara para publicar "La fortaleza del musulmán" con una nueva perspectiva.
El jeque Fares Abad pasó muchos años en Arabia Saudita, donde dirigió las oraciones musulmanas en la mezquita Ali Ibn Taleb en la ciudad de Dhahran durante dos años a partir de 2006, después de lo cual se trasladó a Ajman en los Emiratos Árabes Unidos.
Actualmente trabaja como recitador del Corán en Almajd TV. Su primera entrevista televisiva se realizó en mayo de 2011, en un programa llamado "El Corán", que se transmitió por el canal de Sharjah, Emiratos Árabes Unidos.
